~ June 21, 1992 (Esther Mitchell)
For a moment outside of time,
I hung, in silence, suspended,
As light swirled up,
From a world of thoughts untended.
I slipped my earthly tether,
And danced among the stars,
Where color sings in brightest hues,
And love’s grace is unmarred.
In peace, I entered this space,
In peace, I will depart,
But a part of the joy I found here,
Travels with me, in my heart.
