About Esther Mitchell

There’s not much I can say here that my poetry doesn’t say infinitely better.

I’ve been writing poetry for almost 30 years, driven to express feelings and trauma I couldn’t find any other voice for. Most of these poems have been locked away over the years, in a cabinet, and never viewed (certainly never heard). For the first time, a couple of years ago, I started letting a very few of them out into the world. However, this is the first time I’m actually opening up all my thoughts, feelings, fears and tears to the world at large.

The poems contained on this blog are raw, unfiltered, and might be difficult to read, at times.
